David Halliday is an award-winning music educator at both high school and collegiate levels, and teaches private saxophone at both Westminster College, where he also directs the Westminster Jazz Ensemble, and the University of Utah where he serves as Associate Adjunct Professor of Saxophone.
As a teen-ager, David studied with jazz legend, tenor saxophonist Joe Henderson. He studied with New Orleans saxophone great, Tony Dagradi at Loyola in New Orleans, and at Brigham Young University with Dr. Ray Smith and Daron Bradford.
He holds a BM in Saxophone Performance with a Jazz Studies emphasis from Birgham Young University and an MM from the University of Utah in Jazz Performance and Composition. For David's bio, please click on BIO on the menu at the top of this screen.
